Mission Statement
The International Double Reed Society’s Southeast Chapter is a regional nonprofit organization comprised of professional double reed players, students, amateurs, hobbyists, collegiate instructors, music teachers, institutions, instrument manufacturers, double reed product retailers, reed makers, and enthusiasts. We seek to bring our multifaceted, regional double reed community together through networking, educational, and performance opportunities and events. Membership in the Southeast Regional Chapter is included as part of the IDRS membership and is available without regard to race, gender, religion, age, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin.
